Bridging the digital divide

According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), over 2.7 billion people worldwide remain unconnected to the internet, with a significant portion in low-income communities. This digital divide severely limits educational opportunities for millions of students. PC4B40 is an initiative that directly tackles this issue by providing students from underserved communities with access to basic computing devices. We are driven by the belief that education is a powerful tool for reducing poverty, gender inequality, and other social, environmental, and economic challenges. In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4), which focuses on quality education, PC4B40 aims to bridge the digital divide at its root, empowering students with the technology they need for a brighter future. PC4B40 is an initiative for students everywhere by students everywhere.
